I understand COD is mainly played by console players, and that is their priority, but there are still I would estimate around 500K concurrent players on PC from Steam and Battle.Net. Why is it that a multibillion-dollar company can't get this fixed? I play star citizen who is known for bugs and crashes but in that game, the game is literally a bug simulator, I may crash once a month not once per hr, and CIG doesn't earn over 8 billion dollars per year for the last 4 years
I have tried every fix under the sun and nothing works, I have a Ryzen 5800x, 3080, and 32gbs of ram, I am on the latest Nvidia driver, the latest windows update, the latest bios version the latest everything! over a 2-3hr play session.On Sunday I played all day to try and finish off leveling up the rest of my guns as it was double XP, I crashed 9 times, 9 times, 9!!!!!!!! over 7-8hrs of playtime, that's on average a crash per hr. I crash every day 2-3+ times without fail. Was going to post this on its own thread but the automod instantly removes the post, because fuck freedom of speech am i right? May be worth trying for those who have not had any luck with other "fixes." This is still pretty stupid, and shouldn't be a thing. Have tried every "fix" in the books - DDUing drivers, reinstalling, scan&repair (million times), delete shader cache, remove other programs that may be affecting, turn of hardware gpu scheduling, etc, etc, etc.ĮDIT: A few days ago I turned OFF FidelityFX CAS (setting the Upscaling/Sharpening setting to OFF), and I have not crashed in 2-3 days worth of play sessions, which has not been a thing for me since the game launched. This is fucking ridiculous.ĩ900k, 3080 Ti, 32 gb RAM (not that this even matters). How is this OK? If you are experiencing crashes, comment down below (add your setup if you want), so MAYBE we can get more visibility on this. Nothing in the game matters - no content, no store, no QoL - if the game FUCKING CRASHES EVERY HOUR.
Just read through the entire patch notes for the Season 1 Reloaded update, the only mention of the word "crash" is referring to fix for crashing when selecting WZ playlist.
